Bill Roorbach is the author of eight acclaimed books of fiction and nonfiction, and his new novel is ”Life Among Giants,” a wildly entertaining story of murder, seduction and revenge, packed with fascinating, well-drawn characters. The novel focuses on a brother and sister whose parents are mysteriously murdered and their search for answers, a search that reveals that sometimes the greatest mystery lies in knowing one’s own heart. Roorbach’s books include ”Writing Life Stories,” ”Contemporary Creative Nonfiction” and ”Big Bend.” He is a winner of the Flannery O’Connor Prize and is an O. Henry Prize winner in addition to having his stories published in magazines including Harpers, The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly and Playboy.
