We are tickled -- figuratively speaking -- to be able to bring one of America’s finest and funniest writers back to Atlanta. George Singleton is a special pleasure for us, and we’ve persuaded him to talk about his wonderful new story collection, ”Stray Decorum.” You don’t need to know much about these terrific tales except that they involve a dog named Tapeworm Johnson and a BBQ shack known as Clem and Lyda’s. George, who makes his home in South Carolina, is the author of several short story collections and a pair of novels including ”The Half-Mammals of Dixie,” ”Why Dogs Chase Cars” and ”Work Shirts for Madmen.” If you’ve ever heard him, you’ll recognize that he’s right up with the absolute best humor writers around. We’ll have copies of his new book, of course, along with some of his earlier titles, and he’ll be happy to sign them all for you. And it’s free!
