We begin our fall programming with a pair of talented authors in conversation. Ann Hite, whose Ghost On Black Mountain was nominated for the Townsend Prize for Fiction and won the Georgia Author of the Year Award is featured with Georgia Center for the Book alumnus, Karen Spears Zacharias. Hite’s latest novel is The Storycatcher and Zacharias’ is Mother of Rain. Both novels feature protagonists who possess gifts that defy explanation. Both stories are richly detailed’ and are driven by characters so well-drawn that readers can easily see them walking down a dusty, mountain path.
